The Progressive Cavity Pump belongs to the positive displacement pumps family.

The working principle is based on the volumetric displacement of the pumped products by the main pump elements, a metal rotor rotating within a static elastomeric stator.

 This principle is well suited to pumping viscous to semi-abrasive liquids, including solids in suspension. PC pumps deliver a smooth flow, which can be varied in proportion to the speed of the drive motor. Benefits include self-priming and the ability to operate flexibly at both low and high rotational speeds, while maintaining a high volumetric efficiency.

PC pumps are renowned for their versatility in handling a wide range of different media.

To facilitate this the range of accessories includes various different pre-feeding hoppers and augers for viscous liquids.

All models are available in a choice of AISI 304 or 316 stainless steel. Cast iron is offered the MI series only. Flow rates can range from less than1 l/h up to 130m³/h. Maximum discharge pressures can be up to 24 bar.

CS Series centrifugal pumps are designed to meet the highest requirements of the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. A large number of pump sizes are available, as a result of the modular construction concept to which the pump components are designed.

The pump shaft is supported by one or two bearings (depending on the pump size). This provides both high strength and the convenience of supplying pumps with either standard IEC motors or bare shaft.

Flow rates range from 0 to 570 m³/h with heads up to 100 m(10 bar), low NPSHr and high efficiencies – saving energy and money. The CS Series is suitable for thin liquids to products with viscosities up to 800 centipoises.

A-AS SERIES

The A and AS self-priming range are used for pumping simple liquids like water, CIP solutions, raw milk, whey, juice and syrups. They can also handle foaming liquids and are especially suited for applications where air or gas is entrained in the pumped liquid. A very popular duty is CIP scavenge and return.

Quick disassembly makes them particularly suitable for applications in the food and beverage industries, where regular inspection or micro testing may be required.

Flow rates up 50 m³/h, and heads up to 40 m (4 bar) are available.

CSM SERIES

The CSM Series has been developed using the CS Series modular design concept. CSM pumps have multiple impellers, which can generate high discharge pressures. Large bearings support the pump shaft to provide both reliable operation on arduous duties and the convenience of being able to use standard IEC frame motors.

Flow rates up to 50 m³/h and heads up to 150 m (15 bar) can be achieved.

CSM pumps have been designed for high system pressure up to 40 bar.

The wetted parts are CF-3M/AISI 316L, the major components are investment cast and electro polished. Pump connections conforming to most international standard are available, as are other options.
